Pierre practises primarily in the area of family and criminal law.
After working for the Crown Solicitor’s Office of NSW, Pierre joined the staff of Justice Whealy of the Supreme Court of NSW where he gained a wealth of experience and insight into the operations of the criminal justice system through being involved in a significant number of murder trials, a terrorist trial, insider trading prosecutions, and matters brought before the Court of Criminal Appeal.
Pierre has developed over many years a practice area in family law. He has acted in matters before the Family Law Courts which involve; spousal maintenance applications, complex disputes in relation to trusts, self-managed superannuation funds, business valuations, and third party creditors involved in family law proceedings which involved the Court exercising its cross-vesting jurisdiction.
Parenting disputes are a very emotional and intense time for parents. Pierre has experience in bringing urgent parenting applications before the Family Law Courts, grand-parenting applications on behalf of grandparents, preparing matters relating to what is in the child’s best interest and representing parents in relation to all applications concerning children.
Pierre also has extensive experience in the criminal law and has appeared for clients charged with serious offences such as; murder, people smuggling, serious drug offences, fraud and serious assault and sexual assault matters.
